The City of Fraser is located in Macomb County about 5 miles west of Lake St. Clair and 15 miles north of downtown Detroit, Michigan. Fraser is approximately four square miles with a population of 15,297. Fraser was established by home rule charter November 7, 1956, and adopted by the electors on December 26, 1956.
